Abstract

Judicial social work is an important force in promoting the construction of a socialist society under the rule of law with Chinese characteristics, and in the face of the current complex social situation, it is necessary to introduce new working methods to better fulfil the objectives of early prevention, timely intervention, behavioural modification and empowerment. The effectiveness of film therapy in the psychological treatment and personal growth of clients has been recognised in other fields of social work, but its intervention in judicial social work is somewhat lacking, and it is worth further exploring the feasibility of combining the two.
