Abstract

To investigate the current situation of teachers' job burnout in ESP teaching in a domestic college of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and put forward the data-driven model of TCM English corpus to effectively improve job burnout. Methods: using the method of random sampling, teachers (n=30) were selected for grouping experiments. The self-made TCM English Corpus Data-driven Effectiveness Scale and Maslach Burnout Inventory-Educators Survey (MBI-ES) were used for measurement, and the relevant data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 24.0. Results: 1 The teachers' job burnout in ESP teaching in Colleges and universities of TCM was at a serious level; 2 The data-driven effectiveness of TCM English corpus can alleviate teachers' job burnout; 3 The data-driven effectiveness of TCM English corpus can significantly predict teachers' job burnout. Conclusion: Based on the data-driven theory, the effective application of TCM English Corpus in ESP teaching can solve the problem of job burnout faced by English teachers.
