Abstract

본 연구는 유아기 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 2015년 11월 한 달 동안 D지역 장애아전담어린이집을 이용하고 있는 장애아동의 어머니들을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 총 151명의 설문 응답 자료를 토대로 연구결과를 도출하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아기 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육효능감과 사회적 지지 정도는 보통보다 높았으며, 양육행동과 양육스트레스는 보통 수준이었다. 둘째, 어머니의 일반적 특성에 따른 양육스트레스의 차이를 비교한 결과, 가족의 월평균 수입, 부모교육 이용유무에서 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 셋째, 유아기 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 양육행동, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감이 유의미하게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 유아기 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육스트레스를 감소하기 위한 제언을 제시하였다.The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the child-rearing stress of the mothers who have young children with disabilities. This study has conducted a questionnaire-based survey of those mothers with young children with disabilities who use child-care facilities exclusively for children with disabilities in “D” region during November of 2015. The research results, which are based on the questionnaire responses from 151 subjects, are as follows. First, the mothers with young children with disabilities registered higher levels of parenting efficacy and social support than average, while registering average child-rearing behavior and child-rearing stress. Second, the comparison of the child-rearing stress according to the general characteristics of mothers showed a statistically significant difference only in the family’s average monthly income. Third, child-rearing behavior, social support, and parenting efficacy showed significant as the factors that influenced the child-rearing stress of the mothers who had young children with disabilities. Based on the results, the study makes suggestions for reducing the child-rearing stress of the mothers with young children with disabilities.
