Abstract

Aim: To find out the effect of Auditory Integration Training in Autistic Children. Material & Method: The study was done on 12 children, 6 children in control and 6 in experimental group diagnosed with Autism, based on CARS. The experimental group was subjected to AIT for 10 days, 2 sessions per day for 30 minutes. The pre and post ATEC scores (The Control Group underwent conventional treatment) of both groups were compared to find out the effectiveness. Results: The finding of this study indicated that there was significant improvement in the components of ATEC scores comparing between experimental group and control group Autistic children. The evaluation checklist taken by pre and post test and finding the't' value at 5% level of significance. Conclusion: This study shows that AIT has an effect on Autistic children.
