A Study on the Education and Incentive Mechanism of University Student Scholarship — A Case Study of The Institute of Water Engineering, Tarim University

Abstract

School is the main place for the country to train talents. With the development of higher education, the scholarship system plays an important role in the cultivation of talents and ideological and political education in colleges and universities. In the new era, the college scholarship system needs to be constantly improved according to the educational policy of the state and the university, and the scholarship education mechanism and incentive mechanism should be constantly explored. Through the distribution of scholarships to encourage students to study hard, work hard and strive to improve in all aspects of moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic. Colleges and universities should give full play to their educational guidance and internal motivation functions in the links of scholarship establishment, evaluation and publicity. Taking the College of Water Engineering and Construction of Tarim University as an example, this paper analyzes the status quo of the educational and incentive functions of university scholarship, analyzes its value to national education, provides theoretical basis for the implementation of university scholarship, and is the key to optimize the function of scholarship.
