Abstract
Purpose -The Belt and Road Initiative is a new guide to global trade and investment proposed against the background of the new global trade pattern and its domestic economic transformation. It focuses on optimization and facilitation of investment and trade, cooperation in industrial investment with nations along “the Belt and Road”, and transformation and upgrading of industrial structure, with the ultimate goal of realizing common prosperity. this article is mainly with the further development of the Belt and Road Initiative, greater harbor logistics demand are produced generated in relevant areas and regions which provides a great opportunity for the industrialization of logistics industry in China and puts forward new higher and stricter requirements for logistics industry. Design/methodology/approach - This article is mainly literature research. This paper analyzes Chinese government documents and academic papers. This paper also analyzes papers of Korean scholars. this paper summarizes and analyzes the cargo throughput and container throughput of the main ports in Bohai Rim for three years. Findings - The result of this article is the industrialization of harbor logistics of Bohai Rim industry can not only promote the logistics industry to integration of the construction of the Belt and Road Innitiatve but at the same time, push the common development of China along the route forward. Research implications or Originality - considering the imperfections of development, it is essential to face up to the problems exist in the harbor logistics of Bohai Rim at this stage and formulate scientific and reasonable development plans specified in harbor logistics.
