Abstract

In this study is about an algorithm and application program which processes the images of liquefied cells for the tissue diagnosis on uterine cervical cancer of women. And, cellular domain extraction through which automatic processing of cytological diagnosis process is enabled was performed and it was established depending on the size of cell nucleus based on cytological diagnosis standard of uterine cervical cancer cell. Obtained cell image was processed by using matlab. And we used a total of 10 samples of cervix cells to calculate the area of nucleus used for diagnosis. Based on the result, we obtained outcomes of the test as normal 6 cases; Atypical Squamous Cell of Undetermined Significance (ASCUS) 2 cases; Mild dysplasia (LSIL) 1 cases; and Severe dysplasia (HSIL) 1 cases. And successful in the implementation of diagnostic programs of cervical cancer. With such outcomes, we believe that early diagnosis of uterine cervical cancer would become easier in the future.
