Abstract

This study examined the characteristics used in media art and their effect on viewing satisfaction. Therefore, a survey was conducted on 197 visitors who visited at least one of the following: bunker of light in Jeju Island, the manipulation angle of time at the Nature Labs Museum, and the media art exhibition at the Arte Museum. As a result of analysis through the multiple linear regression analysis model, it was found that the influence of satisfaction was significant in the media art characteristics such as replace, interactivity, and sensory stimulation. The results of this study provide theoretical and practical implications in that they empirically examine the effects of media art characteristics on viewing satisfaction.
