Abstract

Abstract The structural strength on the axle of automotive wheel by configuration is analyzed with two kinds of simulation models of 1 and 2 in this study. The maximum stress of 165.11 MPa is happened intensively at the welding part bonded between wheel and axle in case of model 1. The stress is shown to be distributed at model 2 reinforced at this part. If the design of automotive wheel axle can be applied by using the results of this study, it is thought that these results become the useful material to estimate the durability.
