A Study on Perception of Early Childhood Special Education Teachers on Family Support Programs in Early Childhood Special Education School

Abstract

본 연구는 최근 가족지원프로그램 운영 실태와 인식에 대해 알아보기 위해 유아특수학 교에서 종사하는 유아특수교사 72명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 가족지원프로그램이 모든 유아특수학교에서 실시되고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었는데, 현재 유아특수학교에서는 개별화교육 및 개별화가족지원프로그램, 부모와의 상담, 부모교육 등의 가족지원프로그램이 가장 많이 실시되고 있으며, 이에 대해 가장 비중 있게 다루어 지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 각 기관들마다 실시하고 있는 부모교육 실태에 대해 조사한 결과 많은 기관들이 외부 전문 강사를 초청하여 이루어지는 강연회 형식을 선호 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가족지원프로그램 인식에 대해 조사한 결과 다양한 가족지 원프로그램 중에 부모참여지원프로그램과 가족상담지원프로그램, 부모교육, 비장애형제장 애지원, 지역사회연계프로그램에 대한 요구가 가장 많았으며, 발전 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 현장에서 이루어지고 있는 가족지원프로그램에 대한 실태 및 인식 결과에 기초하여 보다 성공적인 가족지원프로그램 운영을 위해 개선되어야 할 방안을 논의 하였으며, 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구에 대해 제언하였다.The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of family support programs and the perception of early childhood special education teachers in early childhood special schools on family support programs. For this purpose, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 72 early childhood special education teachers in early childhood special education schools. The results of this study were as follows: First, all institutions surveyed on the implementation of family support programs were carrying out family support programs. The most frequently used family support programs were Individualized Education, Individualized Family Support programs, consultation with parents, and parent education. The parent training conducted by the institutions showed that the special lectures were the most performed by inviting professionals from the outside. Second, as a result of the survey on the perception of family support programs of early childhood special education teachers, the results of the questionnaire survey were as follows: (1) parent support programs, family counseling support programs, parent education, support programs for siblings, & community use seem to be very important factors. Based on these results, implications for more effective family support programs were discussed.
