Abstract

The purpose of the research is to develop the measuring device for the ventilation in tunnels. This device measures the differences of pressures between two points, using two devices of the same construction, by which the headloss of tunnels may be calculated. This device is composed of a container in which the air pressure is kept constant as the reference pressure, and is equipped with a manometer to detect the difference between the reference pressure and the ambient air pressure. In order to obtain the reference pressure, it is necessary for the container of the device to be kept at a constant temperature with the accuracy of 10-3°C. Firstly, both the structure and its operation of the device with double-walled container is explained. Secondly, the dynamics of temperature may be represented as a on-off feedback control system and its characteristics of temperature is analyzed in detail. Finally, the experimental studies are performed and the good regulation response may be obtained at the high accuracy within 10-3°C.
