Abstract

ABSTRACT This study, taking statistic test approach, was conducted to explore the manifest components, focusing on organizational culture, organizational empowerment, and self-efficacy, which have been approved as crucial factors vitalizing nursing staff' career enthusiasm. We adopted a cross-sectional research design, and used the organizational culture, organizational empowerment and self-efficacy scales as the research instruments. From August 10 to September 25, 2021, the head nurses collected data using questionnaires. Selected participants were the nursing staff in hospitals from Taiwan, Indonesia and Vietnam, with a total of 302 valid questionnaires were collected. Descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test, analysis of variance test, Pearson correlation analysis, regression analysis was carried out. Taiwan's organizational culture score is the highest, followed by Vietnam and Indonesia; In terms of organizational empowerment, Indonesia has the highest score, followed by Taiwan and Vietnam; In terms of self-efficacy, Vietnam has the highest score, followed by Taiwan and Indonesia. Organizational empowerment indirectly affects self-efficacy through organizational culture. Organizational culture plays an important role in organizational empowerment that affects self-efficacy. It is recommended that qualitative and in-depth research and face-to-face in-depth interviews will be helpful for the depth and connotation of the research data.
