Abstract
Generally, people prefer to invest physical gold. However, in recent years the innovativeness of financial sector provides for alternative mode of investment in gold, which is more liquid and safer than holding gold in physical form. Such an investment option is called e-gold investment. In this study, an attempt is made to analyze the preference and satisfaction level of investors towards e-Gold in comparison with physical gold. It also gives emphasis on the challenges faced by e-gold investors.
