Abstract

Jharkhand, being rich in mineral resources, housing some of the largest manufacturing concerns, is one of the most economically backward States. Micro, Small and Medium scale industries could bridge the gap between the large-scale industries and the unemployed population. The MSME sector can lead to sustainable development by fulfilling the objectives of creating jobs, improving lives while taking care of the environment. This study aims to analyse the flow of funds in the MSME sector either for new ventures or for expansion of existing ones in Jharkhand thus helping in further planning for sector wise industry growth in the region.
