Abstract

Diversity has different meaning as per different individuals. There is not a specific definition for diversity. Diversity can be of gender, caste, creed, age, socio economic, regional, physical disability, ethnicity, language, attitude, color etc. Human resource department plays a vital role in managing the diversity. In today scenario, it’s the need of the hour to procure the talent in the organizations by providing equal opportunities to diverse workforce who results in achieving organizational objectives effectively and efficiently. This research is not new to the research world but always come up with new results. The core concern studied by the researcher is to analyze the influence of human resource diversity on team performance. The researcher has gathered the information on workforce diversity by empirical research. The researcher has gathered the raw data by interacting with employees of different organizations of IT industry in Delhi and NCR. Workforce diversity effect the work culture which influence the team performance. The organization’s that support and value the diversity prosper fast and improves the employee’s productivity.
