Abstract

This study is an attempt to explore the impact of emotional intelligence over job satisfaction and dissatisfaction using job characteristics model developed by Hackman (1989) among the teaching professionals followed by how these two factors influence the creativity quotient among the respondents. Very few researches have examined the impacts of job dissatisfaction on creativity. Based on the data collected from the teaching professional, it was found that Job dissatisfaction also has impact over creativity among the employees followed by Emotional intelligence as the influencing factors. The findings highlight the key roles and need for Emotional intelligence and creativity among teachers in the current scenario.
