Abstract

In this era, majority of the industries such as water distribution, natural gas pipeline use supervisory control and data acquisition system, but it has some security vulnerabilities. There are some various technologies to improve security such as intrusion prevention system, intrusion detection system and honeypot. But they all have strengths and weaknesses, it is difficult to completely protect supervisory control and data acquisition system. And this paper proposes an advanced supervisory control and data acquisition network architecture, combining honeypot with Address Resolution Protocol Spoofing, one of attack methods. We Propose architecture that will provide better performance about supervisory control and data acquisition system security.
