Abstract

To study the causative agents of Impetigo. Impetigo is a superficial, contagious, pyogenic infection of the skin. It is the most common skin infection in children. It is of two types, bullous andnon-bullous impetigo. Staphylococcus aureus is the commonestorganism causing bullous impetigo, non-bullous type is caused by staphylococci andstreptococci or both in combination.
