Abstract
This paper study about control of ISOP (Input-series-output-parallel) converter which is a modular converter. ISOP converters are required to have IVS (Input voltage sharing) and OCS (Output current sharing) by structural problems. To implement IVS and OCS, this paper analyzes the input, output characteristics of ISOP converter. Based on the analyzed operation principle, A decentralized inverse droop control method in the current control loop of each module is proposed. Since the proposed control method has a distributed control loop for each module, it is possible to control without communication. Also small signal modeling of ISOP converter is implemented for stability analysis of the proposed method. Stability of ISOP converter with decentralized inverse droop control is presented by analysis of pole-zero maps. Finally, IVS and OCS of ISOP converter with decentralized inverse droop control are verified through simulation result.
