Abstract

The autonomous audio-visual learning in the web-based environment not only conforms to the new trend of CET Band-4, but also helps students learn how to cultivate the teaching and learning resources online as well as their autonomy. In this way they can construct an individualized, digitalized and socialized learning environment. This paper investigates the present situation in which students carry out autonomous learning in the web-based environment and analyzes factors affecting students' autonomous learning, thus providing basis for the future study on how to facilitate learners' autonomy in the web-based learning.
