Abstract

An insect pest problem is one of the important limiting factors in the profitable production of agricultural crops. In India, including Manipur, insect pest control is mainly base on the use of insecticidal chemicals because of their quicker action, easy availability and giving spectacular result within a short time, so, the concept of Integrated Pest Management emerged.Therefore the present study entitled "A Study on Adoption of IPM in Cabbage and Cauliflower at Bishnupur District of Manipur” was designed with the following objectives To study socio-psychological, extension-communication and agro-economic characteristics of the respondents.
