Abstract

The high pressure phase of antimony stable above 85 kbar is superconducting. The transition temperature is 3.55°K at 85 kbar, decreasing very slightly with pressure. Neither an analogous phase transformation nor superconductivity was found in arsenic up to 200 kbar.
