Abstract
The hydrodynamic properties of dilute solutions of lignin isolated from mountain ash (Sorbus aucuparia) and apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) wood have been studied. The correlation between hydrodynamic and scaling characteristics of polymers has been considered. The results demonstrate that the topological structure of lignin macromolecules have a starlike shape with linear rays.
