A Study of the Relationship between the Ease Allowances of the Knitted Underwear and the Clothing Pressure

Abstract

At first, one piece of knitted underwear using one weft-knitted fabric containing 100% cotton was made for test, and secondly, fifteen healthy female were chosen for 3D body scan, subjective evaluation and objective pressure test were made at 21±2°C and humidity of 48±10%. The main body part data and the pressure test data were measured and recorded. Through analyzing all data, the relationship between the ease allowances on the breast, back and waist and the clothing pressure impacting on these body parts is obviously close. The monism linear equations between the ease allowances of these parts and the clothing pressure are obtained.
