Abstract
Inelastic α-scattering experiments have been performed on 40Ca at E α =104 MeV in the angular range θ lab=4°– 16°. From the angular distributions of the giant resonance structures in the excitation energy region E x=13.3–21.8 MeV the contributions of different L-transfers have been determined.
