Abstract

A comprehensive study for pole placement of DC motor is studied using different state feedback control techniques. It also compares the control parameters performance of the state feedback(SFB), feed-forward gain with state feedback(FFG-SFB) and integral control with State feedback controller(ICSFB). Ackermann’s formula being used for pole placement techniques. Performance level is based on the parameter of settling time, percentage overshoots and steady state error. The performance parameters are validated using Matlab/Simulink software.
