Abstract

A mesoporous carbon material, Resorcinol-Formaldehyde Carbon Cryogel (RFCC), was used as an electrode of water treatment technologies applied principle of electric double layer (EDL). And the electrode performance of RFCC was compared with that of microporous materials, such as MSC10 and ACo. The efficiency of ion removal of RFCC was the highest of the three electrodes and carbon electrodes with a large mesopore (> 20nm) was formed an ideal EDL in the dilute solution.
