Abstract
A range of algorithms are explored for performing N-body molecular dynamics simulations on a system of transputers in a ring configuration. The performances of these algorithms are investigated as a function of the size of the molecular dynamics simulations. The results obtained emphasize the importance of efficient load-balancing, and several novel methods of achieving this are described.
