Abstract
OFDM, also referred to as Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing, is a multi-carrier modulation system where the data is transmitted as a combination of orthogonal narrow-band signals called subcarriers. The application of OFDM Transmission Channels in many different fields has solved many problems and brought great progress. This paper discusses the OFDM applied to the SAR data links field, high-rate data for the 5G wireless network, and underwater acoustic channels. First, the application of OFDM in the above three fields and the improvements brought about by the combination are described separately. Finally, the results are comprehensively discussed, and the different roles played by OFDM in different fields are obtained. That is, the application of OFDM in his author discusses the OFDM applied to the SAR data links field, high-rate data for the 5G wireless network, and underwater acoustic channels can solve some of the problems in this field and improve efficiency. In the future, OFDM will be combined with more different fields, and will not bring progress and development in more different fields.
