Abstract

Most of the literature that sings the praises of the king appeared in the Nayak period as Sitrilakkiyam literature. Among such texts, Nandi Kalambagam was composed at the beginning of the Nayak period. The lady's love for King Nandi, Kurukottai, and the victory over the enemies at Thellaru are highlighted. The leader's life also has an inner and outer duality. There are several categories of internal elements in the literature. Among them, this research paper highlights the ideas based on the fields of drafting, standing by virtue, and unity in Nandi Kalambagam.
