Abstract

Tangible products and hard technologies are always viewed as a source of product innovation, but service is intangible, so most practitioners and scholars ignore the value of service innovation. They think the real value of innovation is product innovation not service innovation. So in practice, innovation in services is less disciplined and less creative than in the manufacturing and technology sectors. How to make use of a good discipline for service innovation become a hot issue in modern society, the purpose of this article is to study on this issue in the perspective of value realization and try to find a good discipline for service innovation implementation, because services become more and more important in modern society especially in the era of experience economy and they contribute more percentage in GDP of one country than before. We hope this article can give some references for the innovation in services.
