Abstract

Energy levels in 61,63,65,67Cu have been studied by means of the three-particle transfer reactions 58,60,62,64Ni(α,p)61,63,65,67Cu. Differential cross sections have been measured in the angular range from θ = 7.5° to θ = 77.5° in steps of 5° at an incident energy of 25 MeV. The protons were momentum analysed in a multigap magnetic spectrometer. Theoretical cross sections have been calculated using a semi-microscopic model. Spin and parity assignments of the energy levels in 67Cu are assigned by comparison with experimentally determined angular distributions of previously well-known energy levels in 61,63,65Cu, and DWBA calculations.
