Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease and topical corticosteroids remain the mainstay of its treatment. Corticophobia, also called topical corticosteroid concerns (TCC), can cause poor adherence to treatment and impact disease control. It is defined as exaggerated fears, anxiety, doubts or reluctance regarding corticosteroid use.1 TCC has been evaluated by a numerical (NS) and a visual analog scale (VAS)2,3 , however, it´s complexity makes an assessment by binary (yes/no) questions too simplistic.
