Abstract
Among thousands of color combination, how to arrange and create color harmony? What is the best ratio in arranging color area? This study is based on 'Tone' concept to arrange the experiments whereas it was developed and issued by Nippon Color Design Research Institute. This study aims to explore how area ratio relate to color harmony. As well the experimental results were used to verify Munsell's Law 1 (V 1 C 1 )equalsA 2 (V 2 C 2 )>> and Moon & Spencer' Model 1 [C 1 2 + 64(V 1 -V B ) 2 ] 1/2 equals A 2 [C 2 2 +64(V 2 - V B ) 2 ] 1/2 >>.
