A Study of City Space Expansion from the Perspective of “Anti-Planning” Concept - Exemplified by Chengdu Metropolitan Area

Abstract

“Anti-planning” theory is a new planning theory relative to traditional planning theory, which stresses that the planning should start from controlling city ecological infrastructures. The thesis sets forth the era background, the “Anti-planning” theory and combined with the actual thinking research about the present situation of Chengdu urban space expansion, according to the plight of ecological, from the perspective of “Anti-planning” Chengdu metro areas ecological security pattern construction this thesis puts forward such as establishing ecological corridor, the landscape ecological solutions. This thesis makes a study of city space expansion from the perspective of anti-planning and gives some thoughts.
