Abstract

A theoretical investigation has been done to find the impacts of Chandrasekhar limits (ultra-relativistic and non-relativistic) in adiabatic plasmas with the presence of superthermal ions. To do so, a dust-acoustic solitary wave (DASW) equation propagating in adiabatic degenerate plasmas has been derived employing the reductive perturbation method. The effects of the external magnetic field on the wave propagation and its instability have also been scrutinized. However, the plasma parameters, used in this present theoretical analysis, correspond to white dwarfs but it is possible to apply results for neutron stars and other compact objects.
