Abstract

Abstract The free and total amino acid content of three batches of Proteose-Peptone is presented. The presence of hydroxyproline and the high content of glycine and alanine suggest that a part of the protein used in the manufacture belongs to collagen. The three batches have shown similar strepogenin activity.
