Abstract
AbstractA simple method is described for the estimation of the pressure‐distance curves for sterically stabilized particles using a laboratory centrifuge. The method can be used to characterize adsorbed macromolecules. As an example the experiments with two different polymers (poly(vinyl alcohol) and methylhydroxypropoxycellulose) and their mixtures at saturation adsorption are reported.
