Abstract

Education means enabling the mind to find out that ultimate truth which emancipates us from the bondage of the dust and gives us the wealth, not of things but of inner light, not of power but of love, making this truth its own and giving expression to it. Present study aims at finding the relationship between mental health and academic achievement of the secondary students and to compare the academic achievement of boys and girls on the basis of different dimensions of mental health. A sample of 60 students was selected from co-educational school of Sonipat of class X. To accomplish these aims one standardized psychological test “Mental Health Battery” (M.H.B) is used in this study.
