Abstract

A statistical model for analysis of overlapping nuclear pores (ring holes of equal diameter) on the flat surface of nuclear track membranes was developed. Statistical distribution of the probability of occurrence of double and triple pores were obtained for medium-porosity (below 0.5) membranes with allowance for configuration forms (for triplets). The results obtained by the analytical procedure are compared with computer simulation data.
