Abstract
This chapter presents a stability criterion for linear autonomous functional differential equations. The chapter presents an algorithm for the computation of the numbers dj and mj, which are uniquely determined by Δ(λ).. The relations for the numbers dj, mj show that dk = m is possible if and only if either k = 1 and m1 = n = 1 or k = 2 and d1 = 0, m1 = n−1, m2 = 1. The chapter presents a stability criterion on the basis of the general theory for linear autonomous functional differential equations.
