Abstract

As for the advanced version of digital terrestrial television multimedia broadcasting (DTMB-A), requirements of real-time spectrum sensing algorithms are demanded in effectiveness and robustness for the diverse applications. In this article, an algorithm is proposed as different interval Pseudo-Noise Auto-correlation (DIPNAC) to detect the DTMB-A signals, which makes full use of the sensed signals. Considering DTMB-A uses Pseudo-Noise Multi-Carrier (PN-MC) sequence as the frame header, the weighted cumulative results of auto-correlation among different frame headers are taken as the decision statistics and the coefficients are obtained through constrained optimization. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve higher decision probability and better robustness under carrier frequency offset and multipath channels compared with prior algorithms. Our work ensures the efficiency of DTMB-A spectrum sensing in the future applications.
