Abstract
A spectral radiant heat flux calculation model for stratospheric airships is constructed in this paper. First, the net heat method is applied and developed by further considering the effect of the gas inside the airship, the transmission of the skin and the spectral properties of the radiation sources. The calculation methods of different spectral radiation sources are introduced and the mathematical model of the absorption coefficient of the internal gas is built. Then the net heat method is simplified to improve the computational efficiency. At last, an example is taken to show the radiant heat flux distribution on the skin of the airship, meanwhile to verify the validity of the simplified net heat method. The radiant heat flux distribution on the skin of the stratospheric airship in different regions of spectrum are shown, the result also shows that the sun provides important radiation in the infrared spectrum.
