AbstractThe distribution of aniline between n‐heptane and aqueous ammonium sulfate solutions was studied at different temperatures. The activity coefficients of aniline in aqueous ammonium sulfate solutions, were determined.The effect of ammonium sulfate on the dissociation of aniline sulfate was studied, at different amine salt concentrations, and different temperatures, using a modified distribution method1. ΔH, ΔS and ΔF for the dissociation of the anilinium ion, were determined.
