Abstract

We obtain a solution of the DGLAP equation to extract the gluondistribution function from the deep inelastic structure functionF2 and its derivative with respect to ln Q2 at low x in thenext-to-leading order of perturbation theory. The values of the gluondistribution are found in the range 10−4 ⩽ x ⩽ 10−2at Q2 = 20 GeV2. We test its validity by comparing it with thatof Glück, Reya and Vogt. The detailed analysis is given for the HERAdata.
