Abstract
AbstractA solid injection technique is described for the comparative gas chromatographic study of bark beetle pheromones. It should be applicable to most gas chromatographs without instrument modification and can be used for quantitative analyses. The technique, which is simple and rapid, requires only one beetle per sample. Results are compared with those using solvent extraction methods.ZusammenfassungEine solide Injektionstechnik zum Studium von Borkenkäfer‐PheromonenEs wird eine solide Injektionstechnik für vergleichende gaschromatographische Untersuchungen von Borkenkäfer‐Pheromonen beschrieben. Sie ist für die meisten Gaschromatographentypen geeignet und für quantitative Analysen brauchbar. Die ebenso einfache wie zeitsparende Technik benötigt nur einen einzigen Käfer pro Probe. Die Ergebnisse werden mit jenen verglichen, die auf der Basis von Lösungsextraktionen gewonnen wurden.
