The extent and complexity of environmental data management needs have increased significantly over the past several years. As environmental regulations increase, and compliance solutions are evaluated, the need to monitor and document performance becomes increasingly important. Regulatory complexities and volumes of monitoring data mandate the use of detailed procedures to assure compliance with accounting for wastes produced and disposed. A commercially available comprehensive environmental data management system offers a solution, particularly in times when personnel availability for in-house software development is limited.
