Abstract

Distributed systems require applications that adopt a centralized model of management and an automation of resource activities that aid administrators in the system resources management. Mobile agent technology has become an alternative approach for the design of distributed systems to the traditional centralized architecture. Distributed system management can be distributed and scaled by the use of mobile agents. This work proposes a social multiagent-based interface that adopts intelligent agents as a technology for tasks distribution and resource management in distributed systems. The technique of artificial intelligence based on intelligent agents gives the system a proactive behavior. The presented results are based on a design example of an application operating in a mobile environment
