Abstract
A novel optical fiber probe based on dichroic mirror’s characteristics for Raman spectroscopy is proposed. The excitation laser can be focused on the sample surface automatically and precisely, greatly improving the collecting efficiency of Raman signal, especially for powder and samples with uneven surface. Compared with traditional distance-fixed measuring methods, the total collecting efficiency improves more than 50 % for both powder and uneven surface samples. Besides, the new smart probe reduces instability and complexity by avoiding manual focusing operation. The new Raman probe provides a solution for precise, stable, automatic and rapid Raman spectrum measurement.
