Abstract

This year's annual congress of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association—its 34th—was, certainly in terms of the number of participants, its most successful to date. Almost 4000 people descended on the International Convention Centre in Birmingham over April 2 to 5. The nursing contingent was at its strongest too: there was an impressive total of 685 nurses and lay staff—74 up on the previous year's total.
